AgeSMART Senior Solutions is a private pay, non-medical in-home support agency offering a coordinated system of daily services that support independent senior living. From everyday tasks to meaningful connection, our seamless approach helps older adults maintain their independence with dignity and ease while giving families the comfort of knowing their loved one is well supported.
AgeSMART Senior Solutions offers an integrated approach to aging at home by combining compassionate daily living assistance with task focused senior concierge services, coordinated home maintenance support, and certified Age Safe® America home safety assessments. Our services are designed to support independence, daily comfort, and continuity at home while simplifying support for both seniors and their families. Each service is intentionally structured to reduce complexity and provide reliable, high-quality assistance for older adults.
The cost of support depends on the level of assistance, type of service needed, and how often services are provided. In most cases, it is a more affordable option than relocating a loved one to a senior living facility. Our Care Coordinator will work closely with you and your loved one to design a plan that fits your needs and budget.
Yes! Many of our clients use both. Home health care addresses medical needs through licensed medical professionals, while AgeSMART provides non-medical support like daily living assistance, companionship, and help with daily tasks. These services work hand in hand to offer a more complete support experience. We are happy to coordinate with your home health provider to ensure smooth, consistent support tailored to your loved one’s needs.
Absolutely! Each member of our team is:
We understand that consistency builds trust and comfort, so we make it a priority to provide consistent team members whenever possible. While occasional adjustments may be necessary, we take great care to match you with individuals who fit your needs, preferences, and personality so you can build a strong, lasting connection.
Getting started is simple. If support is needed right away, we encourage you to call us directly for the fastest assistance. You can also reach out through our website, and we will quickly arrange a time to learn more about your needs. From there, our dedicated Care Coordinator will meet with you, discuss your goals, and create a personalized support plan designed to fit your lifestyle.
Choosing the right support can feel overwhelming. The best fit depends on your loved one’s current needs, lifestyle, and goals. Some individuals may benefit from occasional companionship or help around the house, while others may need more consistent daily living assistance. AgeSMART offers a range of professional services designed to support older adults living at home. We begin with a phone consultation to understand your situation and discuss appropriate next steps.
Daily Living Assistance includes two forms of support depending on individual needs. Companion Care focuses on household help, shared activities, and daily structure, while Personal Care provides gentle assistance with personal routines such as dressing, grooming, and other day-to-day self-care needs. All services are thoughtfully tailored to each individual, helping older adults remain comfortable, supported, and confident at home.
Home health care involves skilled medical treatment provided at home by licensed professionals such as nurses or therapists, and it typically requires a doctor’s referral. Daily living assistance, in contrast, offers day-to-day support and companionship that does not include medical treatment. It includes help with light daily living assistance, meal set up, light household support, and other daily routines that promote senior independence and comfort at home.
This service is a flexible, personalized support designed to help older adults manage the day-to-day tasks that make life more comfortable, connected, and independent. This may include tasks such as errands, appointment scheduling, tech help, meal planning, organizing, or coordinating outside services. Don’t see the service you need? Let’s talk - we’re happy to customize support to fit your needs.
Absolutely, you are in control. Our services are designed to be flexible, and you can choose just the support you need, when you need it, without being locked into a rigid package. We will start with a conversation about your goals, preferences, and routines, and then build a plan that fits your lifestyle.
We offer both. Some clients use our services occasionally, such as after an illness, before a move, or during busy family times, while others prefer ongoing weekly or monthly support. Whether it is a one-time helping hand or a consistent presence, we are here to meet your needs on your schedule.
Yes. Our concierge services are designed to support you inside and outside the home. We can help with in-home tasks like organizing, filing, or tech support, as well as out of home needs like grocery pickup, post office runs, or transportation coordination. The goal is to reduce stress, simplify life, and support independence whenever you need us.
Yes. Our concierge services are provided by carefully selected staff who are either trained in senior support or bring strong backgrounds in serving older adults, customer service, or aging support roles. Each team member receives additional orientation specific to AgeSMART’s standards of excellence. While this is a non-medical service, our concierge staff understand the unique needs of older adults and are chosen for their reliability, warmth, and professionalism.
Yes - you can! AgeSMART offers customizable gift packages that make thoughtful, practical, and meaningful gifts for aging parents, friends, or loved ones. We’ll help you create a package that fits their needs and your budget. It’s a unique way to show you care by giving comfort, confidence, and support right at home.
Home maintenance coordination is a personalized service designed to relieve older adults and their families from the time-consuming burden of home upkeep. It includes identifying and presenting experienced independent third-party professionals for your selection, requesting estimates, scheduling services, and the ongoing back and forth communication that can quickly become overwhelming, and being present during scheduled work when needed.
No. AgeSMART does not perform maintenance or repair work and does not act as a general contractor. We serve as a coordinator to support scheduling and communication between clients, their families and representatives, and independent, experienced third-party service professionals such as electricians, plumbers, landscapers, and handymen. All contractors are independent, carry their own liability insurance, and are solely responsible for the quality and completion of their work.
We assist with the coordination of routine, non structural home maintenance tasks by identifying and presenting experienced independent third-party professionals for your selection for a wide range of general home maintenance needs. Our goal is to help you maintain a safe, comfortable home environment while eliminating the stress of managing multiple service calls, appointments, and contractors on your own.
Yes. AgeSMART charges a small monthly coordination fee to cover the time, effort, and communication involved in helping arrange general home maintenance and repair services. This includes identifying and presenting independent third-party professionals for your selection, gathering estimates, scheduling appointments, keeping everyone informed, and being present during scheduled work if needed. It is a detailed, involved process that saves clients hours of stress and back forth communication. There is no markup on service costs.
Our Home Maintenance Coordination team presents clients with experienced independent third-party professionals for their selection who deliver dependable, quality service while maintaining client choice throughout the process. These contractors are not employees of AgeSMART and operate independently.
Absolutely. With proper authorization, AgeSMART is happy to communicate directly with designated family members or representatives to share updates, discuss contractor estimates, and confirm approvals. This helps keep everyone informed, especially those supporting a loved one from a distance, and reduces stress for both the client and their family.
An Age Safe® America Certified Senior Home Safety Assessment is a specialized review of the home environment conducted by a trained and credentialed professional. The assessment focuses on identifying potential safety risks, fall hazards, and accessibility concerns that may compromise a senior’s ability to live independently as they age. This service is a proactive, evidence-based approach to aging in place safely and with confidence.
Remaining active and independent is a wonderful goal and maintaining that independence requires planning. Many common home features that once posed no issue can become risky over time. A rug can become a tripping hazard. A dark stairway can become a fall risk. Most falls happen in the home and are preventable with the right insight. This assessment helps you take early, preventive steps before an accident happens. A home safety assessment cannot guarantee safety or eliminate all risks, but it offers valuable guidance that supports safer, more confident living.
Free home assessments or care consultations offered by many senior care agencies are typically informal visits used to discuss general support needs and introduce available services. These visits are not structured safety evaluations and do not follow a standardized assessment framework. A Certified Age Safe® America Senior Home Safety Assessment is a structured review conducted by an Age Safe® America certified Senior Home Safety Specialist. The assessment examines common features of the home related to accessibility, mobility, and everyday use, using nationally recognized aging in place principles. Findings are shared in the form of observations and practical recommendations that families can review and consider when planning home related adjustments.
One of the most valuable aspects of this assessment is that it supports independence, not restricts it. The goal is not to take control, but to quietly remove obstacles that could lead to accidents or frustration. We help identify small, practical changes such as improved lighting, grab bar installation, or safer flooring options that allow your parents to move through their home more easily and confidently. Our role is to offer recommendations based on observed risks, and any modifications are always your choice to pursue. These adjustments can often be made without altering daily routines, giving them greater freedom and giving you peace of mind knowing their environment is supporting them, not working against them.
Most home safety assessments take between one and a half and two and a half hours, depending on the size of the home and its layout. The assessment typically involves a walk through of key areas of the home, with time for questions and discussion along the way. The process is intended to be informative and respectful of the home and the people living in it, without being rushed.
A home safety assessment is intended to focus on everyday living considerations rather than control or restriction. The assessment reviews common features of the home to identify areas that may present challenges as needs change over time. Recommendations are based on observations and may include practical options such as lighting considerations, handhold placement, or surface transitions. Any changes are entirely optional and decided by the family. The goal is to provide information that families can consider when making decisions, while respecting personal routines and preferences already in place.
